Worry, Stress, Anxiety and Panic

Grace & EaseMy Mom used to say if you want to learn something – teach it!  I don’t know about y’all, but I need to learn once again how to better use yoga to calm stress with big life changes ahead.  Therefore, I’m beginning a new class series (May, 2017) on how to use meditation, scriptures, yoga and breath (pranyama) to soothe the soul.

I have suffered with bouts of panic since I was 27 years old, and took three medications at times to control it.  Three years ago I conquered panic I thought once and for all using Victorious or Ujjayi Breath.  However, recently recovering from a long lasting concussion, and huge life changes on the horizon, I’m battling the old enemy of fear once again.  Taking my Mom’s advice, I am doing my 500 hour Masters Holy Yoga Thesis on Stress, Anxiety and Panic.  Join me in learning how to combat these negative energies which cause so much harm to the body, increasing cortisol levels which can lead to heart disease, diabetes, osteoporosis, increased food-seeking behavior and high blood pressure (McCall, 2014).  If you cannot make it to my local classes, I’ll be posting videos to follow along at home.  We can do this!  I did it three years ago, and with God’s help, I will do it again!
