There are many different types of yoga for all ages and abilities. Chair Yoga is for those who have difficulty getting up and down off the floor. Poses are done seated or standing with the support of a wall or chair. I began teaching Chair Yoga while recovering from a long lasting concussion, and was amazed at how you can achieve most of the same benefits seated or standing, as you can in regular yoga.
